I quit my day job! It has been a long time coming and you all know that this year has been particularly high on the suck richter scale. I couldn’t keep going at the pace that I was working at so I’ve chosen to limit my stress by letting the day job go. And I have gotta say…it feels fucking MAGIC. If I need to, I’ll pick up some short contracts in the future but I’m going to my best to have some time off and try and get my brain back in order.
To celebrate, this coming weekend, the 29th and 30th of August, I’m going to drop ‘The Court of the Underworld 1-4’ boxset to 0.99! I rarely do sales on this, so tell your mates who you’ve been trying to convince to give the series a go. I’m not doing any ads or anything, just a few shout outs on Insta, so spread the word lovely people!
As promised, the below is a description for CHARON. Ooof, I can’t wait for you to get this one. I’m so in love with Charon, and Circe was so great to write and explore. She adds such a fun dynamic to the mix and when she starts throwing her power around she is FIRE.
The ferry man of the dead is on the hunt for the cursed sorceress of Aeaea…but he’s going to find a lot more than he bargained for.
CHARON is the sixth book in a new paranormal romance series, based in a dark, sexy city ruled by Hades and his court of gods and monsters.
Charon has been recruited by Thanatos in the search for Circe, Hecate’s niece, and one of the most powerful sorceresses in history. Finding a cursed island that doesn’t exist on any map is hard enough. He also has to convince Circe to trust him and that’s not something the sorceress is known for.
Circe has a reputation for turning unwanted visitors into pigs, but when a titan lands on Aeaea claiming to be there to rescue her, she’s willing to hear him out. Circe will do anything to be rid of Zeus’s curse keeping her bound to the island, and holds off letting her lioness eat him…for the time being anyway.
It’s been a long time since Circe has been in the human world, and Charon will do anything to make sure she feels welcome, but he’s going to discover that there’s a lot more about Circe that’s bewitching than the magic she wields.
SO when are you going to get this bad bitch in your hands? I’m still aiming for the first fortnight of September. I’m doing some final, minor edits this week before I send it to my editor on Thursday, so its on track, despite the shit show that has been my August.
Need something to read in the meantime? I highly recommend giving Nikki Kardnov’s ‘Blackwell Djinn’ series a go. It’s not your normal lame ass genie story, but a family of super hot, tattooed djinn bad boys who love to make good deals and girls scream. I love this new take on djinn and Dae Blackwell makes me get hot flushes. Don’t let the sweet looking covers deceive you, these books are all sorts of firey hotness.
Alright, this author has some editing to do and a final week of day job to get through,
