The Greatdrakes Box Set is HERE! (and a 2025 wrap up)

The Greatdrakes are officially ready to fly into your hands (or e-readers, or ear holes if you’re an audio person—more on that below). You can grab the ebook and huge ass paperback omnibus here.

For those of you who have been following along, you know this series has been a labor of love. Writing these books during one of the hardest years of my life turned this dragon shifter fam into something really special to me. They’re chaotic and swoony and dramatic in all the best ways, and the mates who tame them are exactly the kind I love writing—fierce, smart, and taking absolutely no shit. Except for Lachie, he takes a lot of shit from Apollo, and I love him for it lol.

What’s in the box set:

  • Fire Struck (Everyone)
  • Dream Lost (Bas)
  • Smoke Bonded (Apollo)
  • Ink Sworn (Valentine)
  • Ash Burned (Cosimo)

For my paperback omnibus people—I know you’ve been waiting and I appreciate your patience while I wrestled with Amazon’s formatting restrictions. Getting a book this size to not print out tiny or wonky takes some doing, but we got there.

Greatdrakes Audio Dates

For my audio listeners, here’s when you can expect the Greatdrakes to hit your ear holes:

  • Dream Lost – January 6, 2026
  • Smoke Bonded – January 20, 2026
  • Ink Sworn – February 17, 2026
  • Ash Burned – March 3, 2026

Also, just a reminder that the rest of my catalogue is now in audio wherever you listen, so if you have some long holiday drives ahead of you, don’t forget to check them out!

New Project Alert!

I’ve also just finished writing a dark gothic romantasy passion project called ‘Claimed by the Beast King’ and it’s already started serializing on my Ream. This one has been living in my head rent-free for ages and I am so excited to finally share it with you.

Every shifter, man, and fae has a beast living inside them. Scratching for survival, to be heard, to be loved.
Delphi’s beast is about to meet its master.

In the shadow of the cursed Mistwood, where magic bleeds through ancient trees, and mist devours the unwary, Delphi hides her magic behind healing tonics and herbal remedies. She’s survived her father’s cruelty, poverty’s bite, and the constant threat of burning at the stake—all while dreaming of escape to a life of books and freedom.

But the Mistwood has been watching. And its king has been waiting.

Tenebrys isn’t just a beast—he’s vengeance wrapped in fur and fangs, imprisoned for thirty years by those who feared his power. When Delphi’s father offers her as payment for his own dark bargain, she becomes the key to the Beast King’s freedom… and the target of his obsession.

Trapped in a crumbling château where shadows breathe and magic pulses through every stone, Delphi discovers that her captor isn’t the real monster she should fear. Ancient fae are stirring. Witch hunters are closing in. And the fire burning in her veins calls to the darkness in his.

He claims she belongs to him. She swears she belongs to no one. But when desire meets destiny in a world built on blood and magic, beasts can become saviors—and even queens must learn to rule.

***

Did I watch Nosferatu and desperately wish someone would do a goth ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and then decide to write it myself? Yes, yes, I did.

If you can’t wait to read it, you can sign up to my Ream here. Even though I am going to be taking back over my Insta next year, I am still going to be the most active on Ream. I love my little community over there, it really is the nicest place on the internet.

What’s Next

I’m not going to lie, the second half of 2025 was brutal on the family side, and it’s still ongoing. But somehow, through it all, I still managed to finish Cosimo’s book and Beast King. Writing has always been my lifeline, and this year proved that more than ever. Thank you to everyone who has stuck with me—your messages and support mean more than you know.

As for me, I’m heading to Prague over Christmas to pretend I’m a vampire magician with some writer friends, which feels very on brand. I’m looking forward to some gothic architecture, mulled wine, and starting 2026 fresh.

Thank you for an incredible year of reading, and here’s to more dragons, monsters, and happily ever afters in the new one.

Happy reading!

Alessa xx
