In other news, The Greatdrakes Omnibus is definitely going to be out in digital next month, but I’m not sure about the paperback. The Zon and I are having a few technical difficulties with getting an author copy for me to check over. Because I had to do some formatting witchcraft to get it under their page limits, I really want to have a physical proof check before I approve it. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes!
Writing update: I have started a new passion project to reset my head. It’s not based on any of the current Alessa worlds, and it’s all experimenting at the moment. I really needed something new and different to give me a hard reset before I launch into writing the Ragnarok ARC next year. I needed something fun with no pressure because I’m still caught up in a lot of family admin, estates, etc, and it’s probably not going to be sorted out for another month at least. I’m going to go on another trip next week to try and clear some more of it up, but god damn, guys, the admin is killing me right now.
In better news, I am off to Prague with the besties for Christmas and am really looking forward to that and already planning some adventures. There’s so much magic and history there, and my brain is already like ‘time to plan another vampire series,’ which isn’t helpful, but I’ll never say never to more vampires lol.
Hope you are all doing okay out there and getting your dopamine hits where you can. I’m really enjoying Hades 2 still, and I have also started another Dragon Age: Veilguard playthrough because somehow it regulates my nervous system. I’m still reading all my comfort books and monster romance to help out my battered brain.
