Happy Fenris Day! We have begun on Ream Stories

Book cover for 'The Fanged One' by Alessa Thorn, featuring a muscular man from behind against a dark, mystical forest background with swirling smoke and silhouettes of crows.

Hey everyone,

Fenris has finally begun over here on my Ream stories! Whoo!

I’m still up to my eyeballs in editing, but I am happy enough with the first bunch of chapters to begin sharing. Just remember that there might be a few errors here and there as it’s still kind of a work in progress. If you are someone who can’t handle the occasional typo, I’m aiming to have the sparkly one released on the Zon in early September.

It feels a bit surreal to finally be releasing this after we first found Fenris in ‘Luna Cursed’ way back in the heady days of 2022. In my defense, I really did think I was going to follow up with Ragnarok after that one, but then I realized I had to lay some groundwork before I did, and suddenly it was seven books later. The point is, we finally made it! haha sob.

Here is draft blurb so you know what you’re in for:

A bound wolf. A doomed völva. A trip to hell to save a god. It’s just a typical day when Ragnarök is coming.

Linnea is a völva with a bossy wolf locked inside her, and her job for months has been learning to control her magic and singing lullabies to the Great Wolf, who every story swears is going to eat the world. When Fenris wakes up ahead of schedule, the gods, in their infinite wisdom, decide Linnea’s the one to help him on an epic quest to find his father, and no, she doesn’t have a say in the matter. It’s her wyrd, her Fate, and good luck arguing with the Norns about it.

Fenris is the lie the gods told the world. He wasn’t a monster but a sacrifice, bound in the dark so the Nine Realms could keep turning. To make everything worse, he wakes to a world that calls him a villain, and to a fated mate he can’t claim if he’s going to keep her safe.

Linnea’s never been chosen by anyone, so naturally, the universe hands her the one man who wants her and won’t have her. Figures. It would be great if they could keep their hands off each other, but being doomed isn’t about to stop their inner wolves from taking matters into their own fangs.

They need to focus on saving Loki if the world and their love life are going to survive Ragnarök. Luckily, a small band of warriors (and Von) are joining their search, because the only thing chaotic enough to find the god of chaos is family.

Please note, ‘The Fanged One’ is an adult paranormal romance that contains graphic violence, swearing, and sex scenes.

Bwahahaha!

If you can’t wait, come and join my own chaotic found family on Ream. It really is a nice place to hang out.

Alessa xx
