Surprise! Beast King is coming early!

So remember when I said Beast King would be ready by Valentine’s Day?

Well, plot twist: my editing brain decided to cooperate for once, and I flew through the final round way faster than expected, and I’m just doing one final proofread because my anxiety demands a sacrifice. I know, I’m as shocked as you are. My ADHD usually doesn’t let me have nice things like “ahead of schedule,” but here we are.

Claimed by the Beast King is now releasing February 4th!

That’s right—Tenebrys and Delphi are about to claw their way onto your Kindles a whole ten days earlier than planned. For those of you who have been following along on Ream (hi, I love you), you already know how unhinged this book made me while writing it. For everyone else: prepare yourselves for a monstrous beast king with a cool peen and a bad attitude, a heroine who takes absolutely no shit, and enough gothic atmosphere to make Robert Eggers proud.

This book started as a “what if someone did Beauty and the Beast but made it more Nosferatu” fever dream, and somehow it turned into one of my favorite things I’ve ever written. It’s dark, it’s spicy, it’s got shifter vs fae drama and witches and a crumbling magical château that’s basically a character of its own.

A quick recap of what you’re getting into:

  • Beauty and the Beast retelling (dark and gothic, obviously, but tried to keep OG French vibes amongst the fantasy world)
  • Monster hero with fur, fangs, horns, a spur and a knot (you know what that means 👀)
  • Enemies to lovers / forced proximity
  • Fated mates
  • Heroine discovering her magic
  • “Touch her and die” energy
  • Spice level: bring a fan (it’s not for your face)

Here is the pre-order link!

Special thank you to my Ream Thornstars—your excitement and heckling kept me going through the editing trenches. I can’t wait for you to meet Tenebrys, Delphi, and the whole new family and fall for them as hard as I did.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go collapse dramatically on my couch with an icy Coke.

Happy reading!

    1. I’m screaming to get it out because I had so much fun writing it! It was just one of those passion projects that I couldn’t wait to write, and I was so frustrated that every Beauty and the Beast retelling was like a mafia romance lol I need my monster.
