BEHOLD! The wonder and glory that is the cover of my new gargoyles book ‘Iron Heart’!
I was going to wait a bit before doing a cover reveal but after shitty day of dealing with people selling pirated paperbacks of my books and Amazon fuckery, I was like…I NEED DOPAMINE. Nothing gives dopamine like sexy gargoyles and hot ladies in leather.
Okay, I have officially sent this baby off to my editor and it is all happening! Now, because this is a passion series and my schedule is full as fuck for the next year, I don’t know when you might get another one in this world. To make up for this waiting, I’m going to do a paperback release of it as well, instead of my usual method of waiting for a few releases before doing an omnibus. For those wondering, yes, it will be the same 6×9 size as my omnibuses so they don’t look shit next to each other. The bigger size also means they will be a little leaner and better for the environment because it will use less paper.
Also, I want your opinion on something…would you like this paperback version to have a digital signature in it? I live in Australia so actually signing and posting stuff is way too out of my price range, but I have noticed other authors are doing digital signatures and I thought it might be nice. Drop me a comment below so I get your thoughts!
Without further ado, here is blurb!
Once upon a time, a sorcerer trapped a swan princess in a tower and she waited for a prince to save her….this isn’t the story you know.
‘The Swan Princess’ meets ‘Gargoyles’ in this brand new series that’s full of sinister magic, warring gods, and scorching romance.
Zori has spent her entire life knowing she could die at any moment from a rare brain disease. Protected by Maxim, her doctor and guardian, she watches the world pass her by. That is, until one night her loneliness forces her to escape her tower and she has a most unexpected encounter.
Gargoyles were created to protect the swan priestesses of Morana. When Vladik stumbles across an unknown swan priestess, he has no idea what to do. Not only does Zori believe she’s a normal human, but her guardian isn’t who he appears to be.
Vladik knows he must save Zori from her prison, but neither one of them will be ready for the power running through Zori’s veins or the war that is about to be fought over her. Vladik’s duty is to protect, but he will soon learn that the love between him and Zori will be the most powerful weapon of all.
Please note this is a fantasy romance that contains graphic violence, swearing and sex scenes.

I’ve wanted to write this book for a really long time, and I can’t wait to share it with you on the 13th of October. I have set up a pre-order for it because October is also Assassin’s Creed: Mirage release month. AC is my fandom so I’m readying all my launch stuff early so I can have maximum playing time. Priorities lolol.
As for me, I’m off to start working on my vampire stories for when I launch Ream! I have a cover for it already and it’s so so good.
Happy reading,

I like the idea of digital signatures!
You could also see about offering the sticker bookplate signatures – I remember writing away for them as a kid for a couple of kids authors I loved as a kid and I thought that was really fun (send a postcard and get a bookplate for every book in the series – which was like 5 books at the time). And I still see signed bookplates from like book boxes and such.

I’ve looked at book plates for a while but the actual international shipping, even a letter, is really pricey.. To give you an idea, for me to send a book from Australia to Canada cost me $264. It’s insane

That is 100% insane. I didn’t realize international postage was that extreme! It’s almost like time travel or something – is it the 1600s??

It really feels that way! Honestly I’d love to do merch and stuff but still trying to find a viable way to do it.

A digital signature would be awesome, but only if it doesn’t add any additional cost for you.
I was fully prepared to skip this book because, well, gargoyles. That cover and blurb have me eating my words and I should never have doubted you. You haven’t steered me wrong yet!

hahhaha! There would be no extra cost to readers or me for a digital signature. I wouldn’t have a seperate signed edition and charge more for it. It’s just something I would have in it.
