All about Ironwood

It’s been almost a week since ‘Wings of the Night Prince’ came out, so I think it’s safe to do a bit of an official announcement on the next series based in my Fae World!

Those that have read Kill’s book have met the wild tribe of Ironwood siblings, all hunters and all different and powerful in their own way. The Ironwood series will obviously focus on the siblings going on adventures, fighting monsters and having romances.

You guys have really liked this world, and the princes, so I knew I had to keep it going! This world has so much space to play with new creatures ‘coming out’ like the fae did, with loads of magic and monsters. I have had a few ideas brewing in the back of my head (one for about 7 years) and its like all the pieces came together, and they slotted perfectly in this world. The Ironwood books really is the beginning.

Okay, so at the moment, I have four books planned for ‘Ironwood.’ I’m conscious of giving away spoilers so I’m going to list what I’m currently calling them (they might change, it’s just how I’m keeping track of them at the second), and those that have read ‘Wings’ will know who they are about.

They are:

1. Trash and Treasure

2. God Touched

3. Elf Shot

4. Wolf Cursed

So, when is this series going to kick off? The plan is after ‘Gods of the Duat.’ I’m planning and world building the Ironwoods while drafting the Egypt books, so I’m going to have a good head start on them. It means, that without any major crisis’s, you will see ‘Trash and Treasure’ later in the year.

I thought really hard about shelving my gods books and kicking straight into Ironwood, but the truth is, I need a break from writing in that world. It’s been at least 6 months living in that space and I need a refresh…also, I have wanted to write these Egypt books for about 2 years and I’m enjoying myself too much. I know I have a lot of people excited about more gods books too.

My future plan is do a bunch of books in one world, then some in the other, and that way I don’t get bored and readers of both series don’t have to wait forever for a new release. I also have some standalone ideas I’m going to put past you all to see if you’re interested, but that won’t be for a while.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who is reading, rating and reviewing my books at the moment, not just Killian’s book. You’re support means so much to me, and I’m so grateful to all of you!

Okay, I’m off to keep drafting SET. You guys, this book is wild, and I’m loving it. I can’t wait to share some sneaky cover reveals later in the month, my designer has knocked it so far out of the park, I can’t stop staring at them.
