I think I speak for Von and everyone else here when I say DAT ASS! I’m a simple creature who just loves me a red head hehe.
Here’s the thing about letting a god of mischief and chaos into your head — weird shit is bound to happen. Loki made me change my plan SO many times that I got to the stage where I was scared to plan more than ten chapters ahead at a time. I’d sit down with a lovely tidy outline, and he’d take one look at it, smirk, and set it on fire. Very on brand for him. Did I learn my lesson? …Mostly no. Would I do it again? Yeah, obviously in a heart beat.
The other reason this one came together in a good length of time is that my meds for my AuDHD are finally sorted. It took a while to get there, but I’m feeling like I’m back on top of shit (a little — let’s not get cocky). Loki went off to my editor this week, and I’ve already started trying to nail down my final ideas for the next book because I thought of like a million things to add in when working on Loki. He is my muse and my monster like that.
If you can’t wait until November, Loki’s book has already started over on Ream, so you can come and get your chapter fix early over there aswell as get more chit chatting and behind the scenes stuff with me.
Big thank yous to everyone who has been reading ‘The Fanged One’ and leaving me ratings and reviews as well. It makes me so happy knowing you’re enjoying Linnea and Fenris as much as I loved writing them. If you haven’t left one yet this is a gentle reminder to do it because they help so much with the eldritch gods who run the Zon algos.
That’s all from me. I’m off to tackle Book 3, which will hopefully NOT change as much as Loki’s did (I can already hear him laughing). Have you guessed who it’s going to be about yet?
